Apparently betrayed by their leader [[Grimlock (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Grimlock]], the [[Dinobot (G1)|Dinobots]] [[Sludge (G1)|Sludge]], [[Snarl (G1)|Snarl]] and [[Swoop (G1)|Swoop]] found themselves pursued by a team of [[Decepticon]]s and [[Autobot]]s corrupted by [[Scorponok (G1)|Scorponok]]'s [[Gene Key]] led by [[Highbrow (G1)|Highbrow]] across surface stratum zero.
