Sky Lynx attempted to escape the pursuing [[Dinobot (G1)\|Dinobots]], but it took Blaster giving himself up to ensure the children's safety. {{storylink\|Spacehikers!}}		Blaster, realizing the danger he was putting the children in, was about to surrender to [[Grimlock (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity\|Grimlock]], but Sammy selflessly tossed Blaster out of the space shuttle, away from the Autobots. The kids were taken into [[Wheeljack (G1)\|Wheeljack]]'s custody and outfitted with spacesuits. The children were brought before Grimlock, who deemed them guilty of helping the traitorous Blaster and sentenced them to death. In reality, this was a ruse to draw out Blaster, who would be compelled to save the children. Just as they were sent drifting into space, they were suddenly swallowed by [[Sky Lynx (G1)\|Sky Lynx]], who was saving them on Wheeljack's behalf.
