After arriving at the Apex, Lord MindWaveZ set about constructing a [[Multidimensional Collider]] that would permanently fuse the Apex into a single world to rule, and barricaded their territory behind an impenetrable force shield. However, a large group of heroes led by [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]], [[Jason Lee Scott]], and [[Scarlett]] set up a base of operations on a neighboring landmass, and worked together to reverse the cataclysm and save their individual realities. Their combined attacks on each of Lord MindWaveZ's facilities gradually crippled enemy operations; eventually, they successfully destabilized the Apex and deactivated Lord MindWaveZ's force field. In the final battle against their nemesis, the heroes successfully defeated the villainous fusion and destroyed their Multidimensional Collider.
