A group of [[Decepticon]]s ~~lead~~ by [[Shockwave (G1)\|Shockwave]] search for [[Galvatron (G1)\|Galvatron]] deep inside Unicron, while [[Arcee (G1)\|Arcee]] and [[Daniel Witwicky (G1)\|Daniel]] are likewise searching for [[Spike Witwicky (G1)\|Daniel's father]] and the other [[Autobot]]s. The two groups run into each other, but don't even have time to engage in battle, as Unicron's internal defenses attack them first. [[Ratbat (G1)\|Ratbat]] manages to evade the defenses and comes to the aid of Shockwave, [[Cyclonus (G1)\|Cyclonus]] and [[Scourge (G1)\|Scourge]]. Arcee and Daniel free themselves first, and are going to aid the Decepticons when Unicron lurches. The Decepticons likewise free themselves and the two groups agree to part ways in peace.
