When [[Optimus Prime (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Optimus Prime]] visited the Earthbase he brought with him a number of deactivated Autobots from the [[Ark (G1)|Ark]], to be revived in Wheeljack's Body Shop. However, a series of unexplained "accidents" surrounding the resurrection of [[Tracks (G1)|Tracks]] led him to believe that there was a saboteur amongst the Earthforce and he demanded that [[Grimlock (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Grimlock]] investigate the matter. Instead, Grimlock stepped up his attempts to keep Tracks deactivated but ended up being dragged into the [[Automated Construction Unit]] after him, suffering considerable damage in the process. Tracks was fully repaired and assigned to the Earthforce, much to Grimlock's chagrin. {{storylink|Makin' Tracks!}}
