The two of them don't get far before Starscream regains consciousness and resumes his attack. Optimus orders the Wheelie and Bumblebee to defeat Starscream together while he protects Sam and Mikaela. Wheelie and Bumblebee manage to accomplish their task by using a strategy that hybridizes both of their approaches; Wheelie goads Starscream into following him, and heads for a tunnel. Then Bumblebee jumps onto the jet to prevent it from flying up at a critical moment. This causes Starscream to crash into the tunnel, severely damaging his wings.
