As they returned to GoBotron, the crew were attacked by [[Space Hawk]]s piloted by the Renegades. After their capture, [[Cy-Kill (GoBots)\|Cy-Kill]] noticed the tension between the brothers and decided to exploit it. He mentally increased Bullet's negative traits, causing him to bully his brother more than usual. After [[Crasher (GoBots)\|Crasher]] arrived to lend a sympathetic ear, Vain Train agreed to abandon his brother and join the Renegades. 			Bullet was one of the Guardians who tested out [[Zebediah Braxis\|Doctor Braxis]]'s [[Destabilizer Cannon]] upgrade for the hand-blasters.
