When Optimus Prime and [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] agreed to parlay via holographic conference, Pyra Magna was selected as Prime's in-person representative, with [[Strika (BM)|Strika]] serving as Megatron's. Pyra had her Companions hiding nearby under a [[shimmer field]] in case of treachery and sure enough, [[Cyclonus (G1)|Cyclonus]] arrived with the intent to assassinate her. The Companions sprung into action against the Decepticons that Strika had deployed to back Cyclonus up, easily trouncing them and forcing a retreat. Pyra willingly offered her neck to Cyclonus after realizing he had due cause to want her dead, but he faltered and Pyra ordered the Companions to leave him alone.
