Following the expulsion of the [[Quintesson]]s and the start of the [[Golden Age]], the Cybertronians began to explore the galaxy. After eighty thousand years, they began to lay the foundations of permanent settlements on other worlds, seeking out mineral rich planets and using a conversion beam, fired through a [[space bridge]], to turn them into worlds perfect for their kind to inhabit.
