The [[Zamojin (species)\|Zamojin]], creators of the Legends world, then possessed SARA and told Deadlock that he and his compatriots were not the original Transformers, but copies based on beings from other universes. Deadlock was outraged by this concept as it suggested that he was fated to become an Autobot like the "original" Deadlock, and defiantly proclaimed that his fate was his to decide. Enraged, Deadlock charged Grand Scourge, but found himself to be thoroughly outclassed. Deadlock only managed to avoid being cut down by grabbing hold of a nearby blade to block his opponent's retaliatory attack.
