[[Megatron (G1)\|Megatron]] and [[Optimus Prime (G1)\|Optimus Prime]] were thought dead after they disappeared into the experimental space bridge 1.4 million years earlier, but Megatron's return to [[Cybertron (planet)\|Cybertron]] confirmed that the two factions had been mistaken. As Megatron began the [[Age of Internment]], the Autobots who evaded capture set up base in [[Iacon (city-state)\|Iacon]]. Going over their options, the possibility of starting a search for Optimus Prime seemed one of the less suicidal ones. So, the Dimensional Interface Assembly was built to find the missing [[Prime (rank)\|Autobot leader]].

	After being educated on the use of the Dimensional Interface Assembly by [[Perceptor (G1)\|Perceptor]] and then left to wait for his return, the [[Turbomaster]]s killed time by playing a game of [[tear'n'chase]]. [[Flash (G1)\|Flash]] was the target, and managed to elude his teammates until he got back in the Dimensional Interface Assembly room.
