When Skywarp is directed to perform a test teleport, however, his system malfunctions, and feedback causes the machines to explode. Shrapnel hurtles toward Grand Slam... but Doc hurls himself in front of his team-mate to protect him, revealing that ''he'' is actually a Dire Wraith too! Grievously wounded by the shrapnel, the Doc-Wraith falls unconscious, even as he ueges Grand Slam not to tell his daughter about his true nature.
