Impressed by Hoist's ability to transform, the [[Attack of the Alien Robots director\|director]] offers him a movie part. Other [[Autobot]]s excitedly join in, but aren't impressed when they discover their roles are as alien invaders. Meanwhile [[Dirge (G1)\|Dirge]], carrying a stolen Autobot weapon back to the [[Decepticon]] base, crashes into a swamp set at the movie studio. [[Megatron (G1)\|Megatron]] sends [[Astrotrain (G1)\|Astrotrain]], [[Ramjet (G1)\|Ramjet]], and [[Kickback (G1)\|Kickback]] to retrieve the weapon and cover up its theft, however they're discovered by the on-set Autobots, and a battle ensues. Once the Decepticons are driven off, the Autobots help finish off the movie which turns out to be a blockbuster success, a result that only serves to make the Decepticons angrier.
