As part of the Daros elite, the king joined in the monopolization of the [[Great Undersea Oil Field]], creating a massive wealth inequality that left most of the planet in severe poverty. Any uprisings were crushed and the upstarts sent to a penal colony in the frigid northern hemisphere of the planet. To further their aims, the king forged an alliance with [[Galvatron (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|Galvatron]] and his [[Decepticon]]s, giving them as much energy as they wanted in exchange for protection against anything that threatened their power.
