The [[Autobot]]s learned of this from [[Thundercracker (G1)\|Thundercracker]] and ~~realised~~ the only way they could get there was via Liberty Bridge. Megatron, fully aware of this, had the Decepticons set up defenses on the bridge. Using [[Red Energon]], the Autobots broke through the defenses, and after a brief fight with [[Starscream (G1)\|Starscream]], began crossing it, only to encounter [[Blitzwing (G1)\|Blitzwing]], who took out several pieces of the bridge in an attempt to take them out. They eventually got to the island, located in a wrecked section halfway along the bridge, where they defeated Blitzwing.
