	The '''Lost Autobot Records''', also known as the '''Storage Asteroid''' and as the '''Lost Cybertronian Storage Asteroid''', is a facility where the [[Autobot]]s placed the collective sum of their knowledge and history. It was created before the [[Great War (G1)\|Great War]] with the intention of preserving the Autobots' knowledge should they be destroyed in the conflict with the [[Decepticon]]s. A special homing beacon is placed in the asteroid where the Records were located but it malfunctioned leading to the storage asteroid becoming lost to the ages.

	The facility is protected by numerous [[sentry droid]]s. Whilst it might appear as nothing more as a ~~floating~~ asteroid, it ~~did possess~~ thrusters ~~allowing for~~ it to be piloted. He and~~ [[~~Wheelie (G1)\|Wheelie~~]] ~~stole~~ a ~~shuttle in order to find~~ the ~~storage asteroid so~~ that ~~they could find~~ the ~~date [[Ultra Magnus (G1)\|Ultra Magnus]] was created~~. ~~This~~ was ~~because they wanted~~ to ~~plan~~ a ~~surprise party~~ for ~~him~~. Whilst there, they were attacked by snake-like lifeforms and the ~~Sentry~~ droids. Since the Hall of Records didn't have that information, the Custodiobot told Daniel and Wheelie about the only place that would: the Storage Asteroid. He even gave them its last known coodinates, thinking that there was no way the two would be able to get a ship and look for it. But he didn't count on the troublemakers stealing a garbage scow and actually succeeding in finding the asteroid. Whilst there, they were attacked by snake-like lifeforms and the sentry droids.

	[[Cyclonus (G1)\|Cyclonus]] and the [[Sweep]]s followed the two to the facility and learned of its purpose. ~~They later sent the asteroid on~~ a ~~collision course with the planet~~ [[Cybertron (planet)\|Cybertron]] ~~with~~ Daniel and Wheelie ~~still inside in~~ the ~~hopes of~~ devastating a [[First Inter Galactic Peace Conference\|peace conference]] ~~held on~~ the [[~~Transformer~~]] ~~home world~~. ~~But like all Decepticon plans... it didn't end well. Cyclonus immediately conceived of a way to use it as a weapon: Aiming it at [[Cybertron (planet)\|Cybertron]] and powering up its thrusters, Cyclonus contacted the Autobots and let them know he was holding Daniel and Wheelie hostage, lest they try to interfere. Cyclonus planned to drive the asteroid into the planet, devastating a [[First Inter Galactic Peace Conference\|peace conference]] happening there at the time. But Ultra Magnus took [[Sky Lynx (G1)\|Sky Lynx]] to the asteroid and fought his way in, distracting the Decepticons long enough for Wheelie to hit the self-destruct button.
