	Lupton was part of a mission to [[Castle Neuschwanstein]] to investigate the [[Non-Biological Extraterrestrial\|N.B.E.]] that the [[Nazi]]s had gotten hold of. When the plane was hit by enemy fire, the team bailed out and Lupton was one of the lucky few to reach the ground alive and rendezvoused with [[Bill Simmons\|Simmons]] and Donavan. When they took down one of the Nazi laser tanks, Lupton was shocked by Simmons's killing of the driver. Forced to continue without Donavan, Lupton and Simmons worked out a plan to take down more of the walking tanks. Lupton acted as bait, and they managed to take down one of the two tanks they encountered. The Kid boarded it and took control, using it to take out the other tank, though he inadvertently also blasted Simmons's hand.
