			This encouraged kids to buy more of these toys to juice up their armies. Mind, these figures were sold relatively cheap, a whopping 200 yen in 1987, and in 1988 they were also made available in [[gacha\|gashapon]] capsule machines to boot. Also, baggies stuffed full of random MVP weapons were given away in various store promotions and contests.

			Typically, figures that came in box sets and with vehicles were very unlikely to have the incorrect weapon. Only one example of a weapon mismatch in a multipack has been found so far, in the ''Transformers''-era release of the [[Red Phoenix]] [[Fortress (Beastformers)\|Fortress]].
