Following a course at the London Cartoon Centre, he was picked up by [[Marvel Comics]] as an artist. The very first work he did there was the pencils for issue 93 of the UK &#039;&#039;The Transformers&#039;&#039; comic, which was his &quot;tryout&quot; script — he penciled the first three pages for editor-in-chief [[Ian Rimmer]], who liked the result and asked him to pencil the remaining pages. His work since then has included &#039;&#039;Doctor Who&#039;&#039;, &#039;&#039;The Real Ghostbusters&#039;&#039;, &#039;&#039;2000 A.D.&#039;&#039; and an extended run on &#039;&#039;Thundercats&#039;&#039;.
