Mole Bots featured in (at least) two low-budget black-and-white movies in the 1950s, in which they ate [[Philadelphia]] twice and in the latter movie fought [[Nucleadon]].

In present day, [[Hashtag (ES)|Hashtag]] selected ''The Alien Mole Bots Who Ate Philadelphia'' as the movie to play for [[Robby Malto|Robby]]'s date with [[Izzy (ES)|Izzy]], but accidentally grabbed ''The Alien Mole Bots Who Ate Philadelphia Again Versus Nucleadon'' instead. The movie was played on [[Nightshade (ES)|Nightshade]]'s experimental [[hyper-reality film projector]], which ended up being bumped, activating its 3d printer function and bringing a Mole Bot into the real world. The Mole Bot caused havoc, with the rest of the family trying to contain it and keep Robby oblivious. Seeing the abuse its fellows were enduring onscreen, the Mole Boy eventually reached the projector and used it to bring many many more Mole Bots to life. The giant-sized mama Mole Bot was also able to reach out of the movie and grab Robby and Izzy, resulting in them being pulled into the film. Robby and Izzy were able to overcome the mama before they were extracted again, while the rest of the Mole Bots were taken out by the Malto family, though at least one survived the fight. {{storylink|Attack of the Drive-In Movie}}
