Luskey\|mayor]] as [[Heatwave (RB)\|Heatwave]], [[Kade Burns\|Kade]], [[Boulder]] and [[Graham Burns\|Graham]] start tackling the fire. An ordinary day in [[Griffin Rock]], and [[Charlie Burns\|Chief]] and [[Chase (RB)\|Chase]] pull over [[Cody Burns\|Cody]] as he cycles along the road — something they're doing for possibly the last time, as Chief is intending to retire. The conversation is interrupted when a stricken plane, which they note to be the one [[Dani Burns\|Dani]] is testing, appears overhead trailing smoke. Dani ejects, but the plane takes out a water tank as it crashes in the park. Chief calls in the emergency and the rest of the team rolls to the rescue. They're soon evacuating the park of people, including an indignant [[H.B. Luskey\|mayor]] as [[Heatwave (RB)\|Heatwave]], [[Kade Burns\|Kade]], [[Boulder (RB)\|Boulder]] and [[Graham Burns\|Graham]] start tackling the fire. When Blades and Dani arrive with the refilled water tank, Heatwave uses it to douse the flames. Regrouping, they note that the emergency was not much of a challenge, and Chief says it's why he's retiring — the team is working well enough now to handle anything without him, though the rest of the team don't want him to go. The point is raised that the Bots still haven't revealed their true nature to the townsfolk, but Heatwave believes they need to keep things quiet a bit longer.

Unfortunately this involves Doc and Anna heading outside to turn on the satellite dish, and the pair are captured while doing so. Boulder's able to pinpoint the location of the craft, and after scaring away the Velgrox outside, the team heads to the power plant. While Boulder starts disconnecting the Velgrox ship from the plant, and the other Bots cause a diversion outside, Chief sneaks in and starts releasing people from their web cocoons.
