Tired of being dismissed as an "inferior copy" of her clone progenitor, Prototype Tezzla and her [[Cog (Power Rangers)|Prototype Cog]]s travelled to Earth to lay the groundwork for a planetary invasion. She formed an alliance with the [[Dreadnok]] [[Zandar]] and the amoral [[Junkion (species)|Junkion]] [[Scrapheap (G1)|Scrapheap]]; together, the three became known as the "[[Unforgettable Alliance]]" and discovered a way to turn Zandar's unique biology into a memory-altering gas known as "[[memoria]]". The trio set turned a small-town [[Florida]] scrapyard into a base of operations, but Scrapheap became sidetracked when he discovered [[paradrium]] crystals, which he believed he could use to develop a powerful [[combiner]] robot. The Alliance began stealing these crystals from a number of businesses, who'd obtained them from a local entrepreneur.

The three villains raided [[Simon Sabhaman]]'s [[Sabhaman's Otherworldly Curiosities|central warehouse]] and took the owner hostage and prepared to steal as much paradrium as they could get their hands on. When [[T.J. Johnson]] and [[Cosmos (G1)|Cosmos]] investigated reports of unusual activity in the area, they mistook each other for enemies, which distracted them long enough for Prototype Tezzla to blast them with a concentrated burst of memorium.

However, a group of [[G.I. Joe (team)|G.I. Joe]]s arrived to transfer the paradrium to a secure location, followed shortly thereafter by some [[Autobot]]s and [[Power Rangers (group)|Power Rangers]]. After springing a trap for the heroes to keep them off-balance, Prototype Tezzla and her allies attempted to escape back to their headquarters, where they could hopefully form the powerful [[Unforgettatron]]. {{storylink|Memories and Salvation}}
