			The Autobots and Decepticons find themselves coming to a stalemate as both are worn down by the geysers. [[Overload (Armada)#Transformers: Earth Wars\|Overload]] orders [[Sundor#Transformers: Earth Wars\|Sundor]] to plot them an escape route, but just then, to his surprise, [[Sideways (Armada)#Transformers: Earth Wars\|Sideways]] shows up. The others don't recognize him, so Overload explains that he's from his universe. More reinforcements then show up in the form of part of [[Optimus Prime (Armada)#Transformers: Earth Wars\|Laser Optimus]]' team. Sideways is confused about how he got to their reality, but nonetheless, he offers up his infiltration services and reveals his ability to swap out his Autobot insignia for a fake Decepticon one. [[Brawn (G1)#Transformers: Earth Wars\|Brawn]] is suspicious, but goes along with the plan anyways.

			[[Ratbat (G1)#Transformers: Earth Wars\|Ratbat]] spots the reinforcements and laments the failure of the plan. Things begin to look up, however, when Sideways, now with [[Crosswise (Armada)#Transformers: Earth Wars\|a different head]] and insignia, calls his name. He introduces himself to wary bat-bot and adds that he has no idea how he got to where he is now, or where he even is. He proposes that they destroy the well and make it look sudden, creating the illusion that there's no energy left to fight over, which will prompt a retreat on the Autobots' part. The others return, and Ratbat orders them to open fire on the structure. Sideways joins in as [[Overkill (G1)#Transformers: Earth Wars\|Overkill]] compliments him on his plan. The Autobots flee, and Sideways suggests that they come back later to get whatever energy is still left. [[Ravage (G1)#Transformers: Earth Wars\|Ravage]] vows to keep an eye on him, while, from afar, [[The Fallen#TFEWPrime\|Megatronus Prime]] announces that it's time to begin the endgame now that all the pieces are on the board.
