After the Cybertronians once again tried to defy the Quintessons, Starscream had the Scientist trap Soundwave and Hot Rod in another virtual reality. {{storylink\|The End Of The Universe I}} In a desperate move, the Cybertronians reactivated Iaconus, the Scientist calmly calling in the brainwashed [[Croaton]] to handle the War Titan. When Optimus Prime's group returned to reality, the Scientist dispatched his multiple bodies to confront the Autobots only for his control signal to be tracked by [[Wheeljack (Cyberverse)\|Wheeljack]] who discovered the true organic form of the Scientist. In a panic, the Scientist summoned multiple defences to ward off the Autobot only for the Cybertronian to push through and unceremoniously crush the Quintesson, ending him once and for all. {{storylink\|The End Of The Universe III}}
