They successfully tricked Gutcruncher's crew, at least until after lift off, at which point they were forced to lock the Decepticons up. Unfortunately the Decepticons quickly escaped just as the ship reached the asteroid, and while [[Roadgrabber]] kept Tap-Out tied up on the ship, the other Autobots and Decepticons went exploring. They found a strange crystal and, doused by [[Nucleon (substance)\|its radiation]], both sides found themselves bestowed with extra power and speed, but at the cost of their ability to [[Transformation\|transform]].
