			Years afterwards, [[Arcee (WFC)\|Arcee]], [[Bulkhead (Prime)\|Bulkhead]], [[Miko Nakadai\|Miko]], and [[Jack Darby\|Jack]] visited the mine to investigate an [[energon]] signature though they could not find any energon. Concurrently, Shortly afterward, Starscream and Megatron arrived. Having reached his limit with his traitorous SIC, Megatron brought him to the mine to humiliate him one last time before he prepared to execute him only for both Decepticons to find Jack and Arcee. This sparked a brief firefight which caused the mine to collapse.

			Though Starscream had managed to escape the mine, he convinced himself to return and free Megatron, reasoning that the act of loyalty would save his life. Instead of his master however, Starscream found Miko and Bulkhead, the latter holding up a caved in ceiling. While Starscream pondered executing Bulkhead as a gift for Megatron, the arrival of Arcee forced Starscream to carry Bulkhead's burden. After the Autobots and their allies had evacuated the mine, Megatron discovered Starscream and freed him. {{storylink\|Rock Bottom}}

	Much time later after Starscream went rouge, he returned to the mine to search for energon scraps (after [[Operation Bumblebee, Part 2\|losing his T-cog]]). However he noticed an [[Insecticon (Prime)\|Insection]] scouting for Energon. The bug attacked Starscream after he provoked it. The but however fell under Airachnid's influence. After doing so, she ordered it to kill Starscream. It failed. Megatron arrived at the mine to fight Airachnid after she challenged him, but ended up fighting the Insecticon. Later after the bug was killed, the Autobot's arrived and prepared to take that damaged Megatron hostage, only to be stopped by Dreadwing. After a stand off, the con escaped, leaving the Autobot's to deal with the drones. Elsewhere, Arcee battled Airachnid, only to be trapped above the mine.
