Trakker and Mayhem engaged each other once more, with Switchblade towing a crate of prototype [[Mask]]s during the fight, forcing it to remain tin its helicopter mode. Mayhem used his Mask to sever Thunderhawk's wings, but Matt ejected and used his Spectrum Mask's anti-gravity abilities to land on the crate and sever its cords. Matt then unleashed a blast of energy on the Switchblade, destroying it; Mayhem ejected from it at the last minute. {{storylink\|M.A.S.K. issue 5\|M.A.S.K. #5}}

			Mayhem flew a new Switchblade to [[Alice Springs]], [[Australia]] in order to meet with [[Destro]] and exchange [[Astrotrain (G1)\|Astrotrain]]'s head. Joe]] leader engaged [[Cliff Dagger]], Mayhem retreated to the Switchblade. He tried attacking Joe sniper [[Sci-Fi]], only to be stopped by Trakker, and the two began dogfighting.
