[[Killer Punch]] was concerned about Hydra's absence, but Synapse was on-hand to remind him to stay at his post, just in case someone else attacked, until Longrack told the political officer he wasn't in charge, and allowed Killer Punch leave to look for his crewmate. Sometime thereafter, the lights went out, and Synapse stormed off, heading in the direction of Apelinq's lab, realizing the paranoid Predacon would try and reach Apelinq's lab. Synapse advised killing the Predacon, only to be overruled by the ship's captain, who wanted to try and keep them alive.
