			Doing a bit of reading up on this, Prime's weapon was just a laser rifle in the Marvel comics, even after his Powermaster upgrade (according to his ''Universe'' profile) and the script for "War of the Dinobots", the earliest reference on here, just calls it "Prime's raygun". From what I can tell from searching the term, the earliest references to it online occur around 2004 with the release of the first Masterpiece toy. 	UPDATE: Having finally been able to rewatch the warehouse battle in Revenge of the Fallen, Optimus can be seen with both the Ion Blaster and the Barrage Cannon drawn, but his fuel tanks are still on his back. This means his guns don't form from them as previously thought. So where do they even come from? Optimus' ion blaster~~ in ~~''Transformers'' and ROTF transforms from his right smokestack and fuel tank~~, ~~supposedly (I know that's how it is~~ with the ~~toys~~, but ~~I can~~'t ~~tell for sure in the movies). That's fine enough~~. ~~But in all shots of his guns~~ they ~~would seem to be black, whereas the stack and tank are quite obviously chrome. Can anyone confirm this is what's going on~~? 			Okay... Optimus' ion blaster in ''Transformers'' and ROTF transforms from his right smokestack and fuel tank, supposedly (I know that's how it is with the toys, but I can't tell for sure in the movies).
