I added it with the intent that it would be how the character's name is written in their own language, but I suppose that would be tampering with canon even if the information was 100% correct. It depends on how official real-world facts are considered, like the behavior of scientific substances (such as chemicals and minerals) in Canon if they contradict Real Life, which one is right and which is wrong? Or, if official sources do not explain the characteristics of real-world things (anything from handheld tools (like a wrench) to world organizations (like the United Nations)) do we rely on real-world facts to explain how they work? Or do we consider everything not demonstrated in canon to be "unconfirmed"? Otherwise, official sources would have to explain EVERYTHING. The ''Italics'' following the Arabic script are not "correct" Romanizations per se, but are closer to Standardized Transcriptions to show how the Arabic script is '''pronounced'''. Wikipedia uses it all the time with Arabic scripts written in articles, because it is realized that many people can't read Arabic.
