All "USA Edition"-type figures from around that time were generally imported over in original Hasbro packaging with Japanese stickers and usually had a (poorly translated) Japanese variant of the Hasbro name to some extent (e.g. Transquito/Transcute) or were straight repurposings of the Hasbro toy (e.g. Nightbeat/Minerva Night Beat). The other thing to note is the fact that Takara would've used the Japanese member names if they planned on them being another release of the [[Rescue Patrol Team]] instead.
