			::::There is no "BWII continuity family". Putting your candidates in the intro paragraph implies that they are possible candidates in all continuities, which is not true. (There is no indication of a Master Computer in the IDW continuity, either.) <s>Your</s> Some hypothetical fans' surprise is irrelevant. Gaea was heavily implied to be Earth in the original media. The Lazlat aliens are an only-mentioned species from an unrelated 2003 Generation 1 video game. The robots only exist in the manga. The only relevant retcon to this is the fact that Gaea is Earth—and that's not really a retcon.
