We often THINK of ''Headmasters'' as being where the Japanese continuity "begins", so I presume when Trent and Sipher used it (guys? speak up!) that was their intended meaning - that this was the identifier of the Japanese Generation 1 cartoon continuity, encompassing all the piles of other stuff that's in it. But Japanese cartoon continuity really starts either with ''Scramble City'' or even the SRLF manga, those begin the earliest exclusive new stories taking place in that continuity that established it as a separate thing from the American cartoon continutiy. So what is Primax 787.3 Alpha? Some kind of separate universe again from the J-G1 cartoon continuity? Ichikawa did this at times in the Alternity fiction took - off the top of my head I remember he labelled the Kiss Players radio play with it's own identifier when again, it's part of the J-G1 timeline.
