The Diaclone/Micromen toys weren't just repurposed, but they they were all later repackaged and were intended to be their respective characters, with names, mottos and bios specific to them. Music Label Soundwave was never officially released as Shattered Glass Sir Soundwave. Also, I only said that it should be "an important factor in deciding the mainpic" as I recognize there are other factors. In Response to [[User:ItsWalky\|ItsWalky]], repackaging is greater than repurposing. The Diaclone/Micromen toys weren't just repurposed, but they they were all later repackaged and were intended to be their respective characters, with names, mottos and bios specific to them. Music Label Soundwave was never officially released as Shattered Glass Sir Soundwave. Also, I only said that it should be "an important factor in deciding the mainpic" as I recognize there are other factors. I also argued that the current mainpic features a form that's rarely seen in fiction and that other characters don't necessarily use "their first known body" as you suggested.
