			::::::I'm fine backing down since I'm in the minority. This is neither a cry for help nor me attempting to push anyone. It merely offended my sense of order that we're breaking our own disambiguation rules in this case, and we do so in a way that I think is confusing and highly counterintuitive. If you guys honestly see having a guy who's a dual-faction character disambiguated by just one of his factions as normal and desirable, when there's a perfectly valid franchise of origin (our preferred method of disambiguation), then who am I to argue. But I'm not sure why you see this as something worthy of 'dumping my wiki account by the river' over. I pointed out the issue on the talk page and advocated for a solution calmly and with civility. Surely merely having the temerity to suggest a course of action on a talk page isn't the kind of thing one gets banned for. Regardless, I've made my case as best I can and failed to persuade people, so I suppose that's that. If you guys honestly see having a guy who's a dual-faction character disambiguated by just one of his factions as normal and desirable, when there's a perfectly valid franchise of origin (our preferred method of disambiguation), then who am I to argue. But I'm not sure why you see this as something worthy of 'dumping my wiki account by the river' over. I pointed out the issue on the talk page and advocated for a solution calmly and with civility. Surely merely having the temerity to suggest a course of action on a talk page isn't the kind of thing one gets banned for. Regardless, I've made my case as best I can and failed to persuade people, so I suppose that's that. 			::::It's really simple and intuitive to you that a guy who shows up in two American stories, and in the first one is presented as a straight-up Maximal, and in the second one is a faction changer like Punch/Counterpunch or Double Dealer, would be disambiguated under Wolfang (Predacon)? You must be incredibly intuitive. I suppose that's why you always write with such empathy and tact.
			::::But, as mentioned above, the disambiguation by franchise of origin works reasonably well, even if characters later show up in other franchises. So that's not an apt analogy. Perhaps a better one would be Thunderblast (Mini-Con) and Thunderblast (Decepticon). If a future story featured the Mini-Con version of Thunderblast as a non-Mini-Con Decepticon, you'd think those tags would work just fine?
