Aiming to find out what they were up to, [[Chase (RB)\|Chase]] pretended to change sides, and as a result was pressed into service stealing [[floatium]], which the pair used to raise the Tech Wrecker into the air. The device began disabling technology in an increasing radius, aside from Chase, who was protected by a green energy shield. Evan and Myles were thus able to head into [[Griffin Rock]] and begin stealing things without the town's law enforcement being able to track them.
