If the series2 field is set to "ongoing" it creates a malformed link. The link is correct, but the displayed text for the series is "The Transformers vol. 1|The Transformers (IDW)|The Transformers vol. 1" (see [[:File:IDWBluestreakSilverstreak.jpg]] for an example of this). I can't quite figure out how the switch is set up to fix it myself, but hopefully someone more familiar with this template can correct the problem.
