Led away by [[Sludge (G1)\|Sludge]] and [[Swoop (G1)\|Swoop]] before things can get nasty, Slug goes on to drown his sorrows at Maccadam's, resulting in a meaningless drunken bar fight that ends up with him getting arrested by [[Barricade (IDW)\|Barricade]]. Awakening in a cell a few hours later, Slug is made an offer by Barricade, the Camien dignitary [[Strafe (IDW)\|Strafe]], and Barricade's new Camien romantic partner [[Swift (G1)\|Swift]]: in return for a briefcase-full of [[shanix]], the Dinobots will help secretly transport a Camien artifact of religious significance through the wilderness to [[Alyon]], without the knowledge of Cybertron's leaders.
