:To enable their [[Targetmaster (technology)|weapon modes]] to stand independently without [[Piranacon (G1)#Toys|Piranacon]] to hold them, each of the smaller Seacons came with a connector, a weapon stand base, and a tripod rifle to connect the two. Thanks to a small peg at one end, each tripod rifle could be held by the smaller Seacons in robot mode in lieu of—or in addition to—their regular [[weapon]]s.

:[[Overbite (G1)#Toys|Overbite]], [[Seawing (G1)#Toys|Seawing]], [[Skalor#Toys|Skalor]], and [[Tentakil (G1)#Toys|Tentakil]] were also available with all of their accessories as part of a Piranacon [[giftset]], while all five were concurrently sold in the [[Japan]]ese ''[[Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers (toyline)#1988 (Super-God Masterforce)|Super-God Masterforce]]'' toyline, both separately and as part of a [[King Poseidon#Toys|King Poseidon]] giftset. All five were [[redeco]]ed and released in [[2008]] as part of a [[Transformers Collectors' Club]] [[exclusive]] [[Piranacon (G1)#Timelines|Piranacon]] giftset under the ''[[Transformers Timelines (toyline)|Timelines]]'' banner, and [[Generation 1 reissues|reissued]] in [[2010]] in (more or less) their original colours as part of a [[Piranacon (G1)#Transformers (2010)|Decepticon Piranacon]] giftset.

==Notes==
*The "tripod" part of its name is something of a misnomer; since a tripod necessarily has three legs, perhaps a better word would be "stick".
