With it, he shall surpass [[Unicron/Generation 1\|Unicron]] himself. Abomenaticus doesn't take well to this claim, reforming Abominus who says that the planet belongs to the strongest—himself, not Megatron or the Quintessons.

Abominus continues his fight against Megatron Omega, but the balance of power is skewered towards Megatron, whose status as a being rebuilt by Unicron himself gives him an advantage against the secondhand construction of the [[Terrorcon (G1)\|Terrorcons]]. Abominus is knocked away, and the resulting crash frees the [[spark]]s trapped in his [[Hellspark]] (which Optimus Prime orders [[Wheeljack (G1)\|Wheeljack]] to gather). Megatron Omega makes one decisive Angolmois blast at Abominus, but it is blocked by Volcanicus using his Angolmois-made [[Magma Blade]]. Optimus Prime, knowing what must be done, orders the [[Dinobot (G1)\|Dinobots]] to prepare for a warp hole and go through to discover the secrets of Angolmois Energy so that they can return Megatron to normal. 	Left alone with the rampaging Megatron Omega, Optimus reassured a despairing [[Neo Autobot X]] that one final ally was about to appear, only to be greeted by the future warrior [[Lio Convoy]]! As Lio Convoy united with the Angolmois Energy of the Selectors to free Megatron's spark, Optimus explained to Spike what he had learned so long ago in the Precursor World: Angolmois was in itself a neutral substance. While Malicious Angolmois of the kind powering Unicron and the Terrorcons could cause incredible destruction, Righteous Angolmois shaped by sparks such as those of Lio and the Selectors was equally powerful, and in fact was the energy that fueled the Matrix itself. As Lio completed his work and sent Megatron's spark rocketing back through time to the Precursor World, completing the time loop, Prime wished his old friend luck in the ancient battle that awaited him.

	With peace restored but the threat of Earth's prodigious Angolmois deposits still very real, the survivors of the Cybertron Alliance and the peoples of Earth were forced to make some hard calls. Optimus Prime led the Cybertron Alliance in leaving the Earth behind, as did the joint human-Selector population.
