In the ever-expanding brand of ''[[Transformers brand|Transformers]]'', there are times where [[fandom|fans]] would like to go back and revisit some childhood memories by collecting some of the toys that they had grown up with and sometimes even the toys they never had! But wait a minute, there's just one issue: why does this original "[[The Transformers (toyline)|Generation 1]]" [[Optimus Prime (G1)/toys#The Transformers|Optimus Prime]] on [[eBay]] cost so much? And why does it have no tires or trailer? Collecting old childhood toys isn't going to be fun at all, is it? This is where '''reissues''' come in handy! As time goes by, those original toys you grew up with are likely to either be in bad shape or cost an awful amount of money due to inflation, the condition of the toy and whether it's a highly sought after piece or not.
