On the chance an Autobot gets too close, the Artillery Unit can put up a shield which is impervious to gunfire. However, with this shield up, the Artillery Unit will be incapable of attacking. Despite their supporting role, they are a rare sight to see during the Decepticon attack on Earth. Artillery Units exclusively appear in the Deep Amazon level, near the ruined temple.
