	There's a joke in there, but the logic is convoluted and doesn't make any sense at a first pass if you're not familiar with the controversy. Claiming that he was horribly offensive to himself to his own surprise doesn't suggest "there was a controversy" or "there shouldn't have been a controversy" so much as "he found his own portrayal offensive" or something to that effect, which isn't the case. My reading of wiki policy backs me up on the idea that readibility comes before humor. 			My mistake. I shouldn't have been editing that late. Given that I was writing about how a joke rested on a faulty premise and didn't add anything to the article, while at the same time explaining the joke itself because I thought another user was under the impression that I didn't get it, that was a bad time to write while tired.

			The end result isn't as easy to read as I'd like it to be, people are still coming away thinking that I was complaining because I didn't get it... and both can probably be traced back to staying up tweaking it into oblivion back in April. 	::Yah, the default template has a lot of stuff in it, but it's allowed to leave most of it to be done later. You can also stick an <nowiki>{{inprogress}}</nowiki> template at the top of the article, if you plan to be working on it for a while, and don't want other people to mess with it until you're done.
