			Please read the [[character]] article. Super quick condensed version, if two stories from the same continuity family feature characters named "X", the two are to be considered the same character despite any contradictions. If, however, the two depictions of "X" are shown to coexist (say, both appear at the same time in a story) they will be split. Going all the way back to the 1980s, the Marvel Comics and Sunbow cartoon versions of Grimlock were very different in origin and personality, but they are the same character. This allows us to have a much smaller number of pages and avoid super tiny pages.
