They're interrupted by [[Dani Burns\|Dani]] with the mail, including a letter from [[Gremsky Technical Institute]] for [[Graham Burns\|Graham]]. It turns out they've accepted him, but as it would mean moving to the mainland and leaving the team, Graham opts to mull it over. Cody receives a call on his cell that triggers the anti-gravity sneakers, and ends up answering it from nearby bushes—it's a call from [[Frankie Greene]] telling him to come to the lab urgently. [[Charlie Burns\|Chief Burns]] contacts Doc Greene, who's still working on the problem, and Blades watches with horror as the Squilsh eats [[Mister Pettypaws]]. The Squilsh heads towards a bunch of kids on the playground, so [[Chase (RB)\|Chase]] and the Chief get them to flee, but the Chief's foot is caught in a ladder. Though Chase protects him, the [[Rescue Bot]] is swallowed by the Squilsh. Burns contacts him over the comm, but the blob quickly moves out of the comm range, so the team chases it.
