Plant-o-bots were a type of mechanical plants that could be engineered to grow on a planetary environment.

[edit]According to the Quintesson Journal, the Quintessons enhanced primitive worlds such as Alaxuu with advanced technology that secretly produced heavy pollution that would result in chemical rains that destroyed the planet's native vegetation.
