| Created by KSI using technology extracted from Megatron's severed head, he is originally intended by CEO Joshua Joyce to resemble [[Optimus Prime]], but an unknown programming flaw causes the transformium to give the robot form a striking resemblance to Megatron. After the Autobots attack KSI's headquarters in [[Chicago]], Galvatron and another man-made Transformer named Stinger are sortied to intercept them. Little does KSI know that Megatron has transferred his consciousness into Galvatron. When Galvatron is shipped to KSI's [[Beijing]] factory, he suddenly wakes up and infects the other man-made Transformers into his minions to capture the "Seed", an explosive device that can turn a city-wide area into pure transformium. After the Autobots and Dinobots destroy his minions, Galvatron retreats, vowing to fight Optimus Prime another day.

| Galvatron transforms into a 2012 Freightliner Argosy - and not surprisingly, he is a ''complete'' shell-former, with his truck mode folding up solely along his back and calves. As with Evasion Optimus Prime, he has a different paint scheme than seen on his packaging, with less paint applications on his body and weapon. His truck mode is also a darkish grey, rather than the black seen in the movie footage. His cannon can either be held like a gun, or fitted on his hand in a way that appears as if it is coming out of his arm.
