- Dim Tim is a human from the Legends anthology portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.
Dim Tim is a graduate student. He's not terribly good at supervising archeology students, which is probably why Randall refers to him as "Dim Tim" behind his back.

[edit]Dim Tim accompanied Doctor Boxer's archeology class on a field trip to Dinobot Island, where he was left supervising a group of students at the southern end of the island. Two of the group, Randall and Ed uncovered what appeared to be a metal elasmosaur, while Harcourt and Rich's team found an old jukebox buried not far away. Once both had been excavated, it turned out that the jukebox was actually a Decepticon named Raze, who attacked the students when he was reactivated. Paddles
