Slugslinger was among the Decepticons that attacked Optimus Prime's Ark. He was apparently injured during the battle, as he was later seen being assisted by Soundwave. Shattered Glass

He was part of the crew of the Nemesis when it crashed on Earth. After Blitzwing had an oPod implanted in himself which began broadcasting music over Autobot frequencies, Starscream and Slugslinger accompanied him on a mission to stop Swoop and Star Saber. Slugslinger menaced Star Saber, who was so frightened he dropped his spear. Sportingly, Slugslinger waited for him to pick up the spear again before shooting it out of his hands, and Star Saber made an attempt to flee. The two Autobots were seen off by Blitzwing's oPod broadcast, though Slugslinger reflected that it didn't seem a very fair weapon. Blitzwing Bop

After Sephie Beller had herself augmented with Cybertronian tech and tried to take on the Autobots on her own, Slugslinger was part of the team that went to help her. They were promptly captured and bound by the Autobots. When R.J. Blackrock arrived and began fighting the Autobots with his Centurion armored mech, the Decepticons initially believed that he was there to help them. When he revealed that he regarded all Cybertronians as potential technology goldmines, Slugslinger's disappointment was made audible. They were ultimately rescued by Sephie, who overloaded the Centurion and carried it to a safe distance before it exploded. Transhuman

Slugslinger was later working on the power couplings at base alongside Triggerhappy and Misfire. Coalescence
