Jamie Simone (born 1966) is an American voice director. Some films and television shows he has voice directed include Hulk Vs., Planet Hulk, Wolverine and the X-Men, Spider-Man Unlimited, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and holy cow, just a lot of Marvel stuff.

He has also directed the English dubs of several anime programs, including Naruto, Initial D, Stitch!, Tenkai Knights, and Tiger & Bunny and produced the Viz Media dub of Sailor Moon.

Simone also voice directed Loonatics Unleashed, but let's not hold that against him.

Notes

[edit]
  • Susan Blu was originally tapped to voice direct Transformers: Prime; however, the death of her wife, actress Cynthia Songe, forced her to step away from the series after "Speed Metal". Simone replaced her for the remainder of Prime.
  • Simone was nominated in the 2012 Daytime Emmy Awards in the category for "Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program" for his work in Transformers: Prime. Incidentally, he was not nominated for his work on Loonatics Unleashed.
  • Simone also owns Studiopolis where the Transformers shows he voice-directed were recorded.
